Welcome to CarbonOn.Me. Our goal is to provide innovative ways to reduce the environmental impact of everyday activities, often at no additional cost to the end-consumer. We plan to do this by utilizing affiliate arrangements with merchants in the airline, rental car, and insurance industries to bring you both competitive pricing and a net carbon-free existence. At the heart, we are a technology company with a firm belief that we each have a responsibility to keep the environment in which we live just as we found it. In order to do this, we realize it will take a collective effort and no one person, business, or even country can tackle this issue alone. We hope to provide one more tool to allow us to keep our environment clean for the generations to come. In the coming weeks, we are going to be rolling out our first product. We are going to offer carbon-neutral airline travel for the first 2,000 miles of any airline flight booked through our comparison engine. We will also offer you an inexpensive way to make your trip completely carbon neutral.

Update 6/19/11

We are currently in our development stage and so you will notice some site growing pains as we proceed. If you are anxious to get started, you can support us by booking your flight or hotel reservations through our site. We will guarantee at least 2,000 miles of flight offsets for every purchased (and confirmed) airline ticket or individual hotel reservation.

We will be updating our progress and donations (along with verification) along the way, however if you ever have any questions feel free to contact us.

Note that CarbonOn.Me supports third-party validated renewable energy, energy efficiency and reforestation projects globally that reduce carbon dioxide emissions and the threat of climate change. More on what exactly this means in the future.
